Many individuals and groups have been involved in creating the map. The research and development took place over five years and through many different methods. Local story walks involved both the public and school groups. Reminiscence sessions about life and work in East Greenwich took place with a group of older people locally at Christchurch Forum. Some of the older people were then interviewed by children from Millennium and Meridian Primary schools. Pupils from John Roan School did further web research on local characters.
If you feel there is a building, industry or any other key theme or detail that is missing and should be on the map, send us the details with the location and we will do our best to include your suggestions in the next edition. Equally, if you feel we have made errors, please let us know and we will do our best to amend.
